(Alpine Bridge is now known as AlpineStock Bridge in Europe and the Alpine
ski resorts.)
StockenBridge Breaks have advised the following information:
"The new 4 star hotel, The Caserne de Briançon has given us a link to their new website. Look at: Caserne de Briançon. Details and costings for the 2027 holidays will be released in due course after further discussions with the hotel management group."
However, we understand that many of our former guests are arranging to meet up again in Les Menuires in the 3 Vallees for the middle 2 weeks of January 2027. Please let us know if you are interested and we can put you in touch with the organisers, Angela and Lorne.
Pictures from their 2026 trip:
Lorne enjoyed his Birthday celebration on the first week...
....which was followed by some fresh snowfalls for the second week.
Hopefully there will be 24 places in this group next January for those keen to
continue their Alpine Bridge friendships on and off the piste. Further details
will be available in due course.
FORMER SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Our final Summer Bridge holiday took place in
Guernsey from September 16th - 23rd 2023 and was greatly enjoyed by those
present, many of whom had been supporting us regularly for over 25 years. The
Farewell dinner at the Hotel was truly remarkable.
All of the details and an extensive picture gallery of all of our past
holidays can be seen on our Archive pages HERE
ALPINE BRIDGE GRAND REUNION EVENT 2025
The Grand Reunion event took place in the lovely old town of
Stamford on November 11th - 14th where we took over all of the rooms at the
delightful William Cecil Hotel on the edge of Burghley Park. It was a great
success, with 51 guests enjoying three days of good Bridge, fine food and lots
of fun. There are lots of photographs to see on the Archive Page at the top of
the photo gallery.
The Alpine party in the local Pub's ski chalet was a great
night and where we were able to show guests a new Video of ski-ing in
Champagny which has been kindly produced by a good friend, Peter Hemmings. He
has generously let us add it to our website so If you would like to see it
again,or see it for the first time, please click "start/play" button below...
We have kept the short Video clip taken in 2017 so that you can see why we and our
guests all fell in love with the village of Champagny, and why we enjoyed 63 weeks of our
Alpine Bridge holidays there.
